Sollas has supplied many packaging machines for the confectionery industry. We can supply high-speed machines, up to 300/min, and machines for lower speeds but with a high flexibility. The confectionery industry is well known for its great variation in dimensions and shapes of the handled products. Because of our wide range of machinery we can handle many different types of products like:

  • "Click-shut" boxes, as single products or in bundles;
  • Chocolate boxes, square, rectangular and even trapezium shaped;
  • Chocolate bars;
  • Chewing gum, in sleeves, trays or in bundles;
  • Open trays.

Packaging solutions

Our machines are often integrated in complete lines where they are connected to upstream machines. Sollas can provide different types of collating, turning and tilting solutions for creating the desired bundle.

Overwrapping your products is just the basic procedure for us. Equipment can be customized with a variety of accessories like print mark registration for handling printed film or tear tape for easy opening.

It is also possible to place a band around your product. This can be done with different kinds of film, coated paper, plain or printed, or even a woven ribbon.
