Sollas is very well known in the tea and coffee industry. One of the reasons to overwrap in these industries is to protect the flavour of the tea or coffee. Sollas can offer a high quality wrap with possibilities to use a printed film and a teartape for easy opening. Next to the high-speed lines for the conventional (tea) products the market also has a growing need for flexibility due to the different products with special flavours.

Especially in the coffee industry we see an increasing need for high speed bundling and wrapping solutions. Usually this concerns promotional packs that can vary from 2 to 10-packs. Sollas can offer such solutions with an extremely short delivery time.

Packaging solutions

Easy integration with production lines make the Sollas overwrappers very suitable for these industries. A wide variety of types of cartons can be handled. An important aspect is that Sollas overwrappers are relatively ‘tolerant’ when it comes to variations in product dimensions.

The available systems we can offer range from straight forward hand operated machines to sophisticated processing systems that can be integrated in a complete production line. Each machine is capable of handling a wide variety of product dimensions. To accommodate all these different products, Sollas machines are designed to be easily changed over or adapted at a later date.

Sollas provides flexible feeding, collating, turning, tilting, overwrapping, shrinking, casepacking solutions and line integrations. Film and coated paper (even pre-printed) can be used as wrapping material.
