Sollas at the FCE Cosmetique

After the enormous success of participating in the 14^th edition of the FCE Cosmetique in 2009 and selling the displayed Sollas 20 to a fast growing local perfume manufacturer Sollas Holland B.V. has decided to also take part in the FCE Cosmetique in 2010.

The FCE Cosmetique 2010 will take place from 25 until 27 May 2010 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, Brazil.

The FCE Cosmetique is considered by the entire industry to be the biggest development platform for new products in Latin America.

This year Sollas will display a machine that has been sold to the biggest Brazilian owned perfume and cosmetics company. This company has decided to work together with Sollas because of the excellent wrapping quality that is required in such a high-end market, but also because of the efficiency and easy operation of the Sollas machines.

This satisfied Sollas customer, who is producing high quality products, has bought the most sophisticated overwrapper in the market for perfume and cosmetic products the SX60 and with this machine they will bring the final appearance of their products to a higher level.

Introducing the new Sollas stretchbanders

Stretch-banding has always been one of the cornerstones of the Sollas Holland delivery program and for many years Sollas was renowned in many industries for its reliable and robust SB-series. The time has come to introduce two new members of that well known family; the SB300 and the SB300S.

The SB300 and SB300S are fully automatic, flexible stretch-banding machines that are GMP compliant and are therefore particularly suitable for the pharmaceutical industry. However, we are sure that because of their high level technologies and great user-friendliness, they will find their way to all places where there is a need for a reliable packaging solution.

The Sollas SB300S stands out in particular for its flexibility with change-over times as low as 5 minutes by means of the very competitively priced "click-on" change parts. Equipped with servo driven sealing jaw and hold down plate, it can reach an output of 60 cycles per minute.

Like all Sollas machines the SB300 and SB300S can easily be integrated with upstream collating devices and downstream equipment like cartoners, casepackers etc.
