Quick change devices pusher and sealing bar
Sollas overwrapping machines are well known for their flexibility, ease of operation and rapid product change overs. To maintain our leading position as innovator in overwrapping, we are constantly improving our machinery. The latest developments are quick change devices for the machine pusher and the sealing bar. 
These quick change devices were designed to eliminate the use of tools and to reduce the change over times even more.
A big advantage of these devices is that not only
can they be applied as an accessory on new machines but also as an add-on for existing machines. And what is more: they can be used with the available change parts! As a result of this, you will be able to use the change parts of your old machines also on your new Sollas. The quick change sets can be used for all Sollas 20 and S-series machines, both new and existing. The only restriction for the pusher is that for products of 35 mm and lower, the infeed table should be clear of product guides or brushes.

Sollas Holland B.V. at the Salon de l'Emballage 2008 in Paris
Ever since the first exhibition in the nineteen-sixties, Sollas Holland B.V. is participating in the Salon International de l’EMBALLAGE in Paris. From 17 until 21 November 2008 Sollas Holland B.V. will again be present at this biggest packaging exhibition of France. You will find us in Hall 5a lane F at booth 160 together with our French branch office, Sollas France.
We will be demonstrating our visitors the latest innovations in overwrapping and banding at the Sollas booth. During the Salon De L'Emballage we will show the following machines:
- The new Sollas SX with extensive servo-based technology. The SX60 is executed with a Siemens controller and Siemens servo motors. The displayed machine has a unique scratch free infeed especially designed for the perfume/cosmetic industry.
- The Miniflex. This semi automatic overwrapper is provided with a universal folding section. With this universal folding section, no change parts are required.
- The new Bandum SH. This is the hand-operated version of our new generation of banding machines. The banding material is transported by a static charge and this way of feeding is unique in the market. Because of this way of operation we can handle different band materials with varying widths and thicknesses. This new banding machine can also be delivered in an automatic version, called the Bandum S.
- The new Sollas Basic. This machine is meant as the solution for companies that have a limited budget but do require a top quality wrapping. Usually such companies would turn to used equipment, but now the Sollas Basic offers the possibility to take advantage of a new machine against the investment of a re-conditioned one.

Introducing the new Sollas SX
A few years ago, Sollas introduced the S-series overwrapper, which became an immediate success. Based on the feed-back of various customers and our 60 years of packaging experience, a new version of the S-series was developped: the Sollas SX. In our innovation process we started from the following concepts:
- process flexibility
- high efficiency
- operator friendly
- low maintenance cost
This resulted in a completely new machine with the following most important aspects;
- Siemens or Rockwell Automation touch sensitive graphic display
- quick change systems on all mechanical components
- Siemens or Rockwell Automation servo motors on all driven components
- re-designed safety panels, hinging upwards, providing improved accessibility
- compact, table-top level electrical cabinet
- Individual Product Transfer system (IPT)
